surfing in november? to my european ears this sounds incredibly tempting, except that I don't wish to come near that icy waters. but if you've been to Mandalay, Oxnard recently, you might have enjoyed it just like the guys in Volcom Stone's Butterfish competition.

Volcom Stone's Goldfish Surfing Video
The first event of the Goldfish Surf Series landed right in time for the yearly shark sightings on the Central Coast. This years White Shark was spotted in Cayucos several times just 5 miles North of Morro Rock, including the day before the event!Walt Cerney won the PRO-AM category and got his 500 bucks in prizemoney.
