Book Of Surfing

Clive Wilson and friends put together a new book with classic graphics, films and photography, as well as everything from a meditation on Brian Wilson to a visual anatomy of surf wagons and surf T-shirts.
or simply a cool book about surfing and surf culture. if you like the trailer and pictures go to www.bookofsurfing.com and get it.

Uganda Skate Union

more proof that skateboarding isn't a crime.
the project Uganda Skateboard Union is a superb example that charity work doesn't have to be boring. just grab a couple old skateboards and head off to a third world country to teach the locals and build a pipe.
huge respects to these guys!

Dr. Steve-O

steve-O, a.k.a. Stephen Glover, premieres his newest show called Dr. Steve-O in two weeks on October 1st at USA Network.
in his own words, his career started when "I stole a video camera from my father when I was 15 years old." soon afterwards he began producing videos of skateboarding, which featured an array of comical and dangerous behavior. Afterwards he landed a gig at the Jackass, but he was too edgy even for those guys and now he's off to do his own stuff not just on the net.
more videos are here.

Miss Boarder

the first boarding blog just for girls has launched a month or so ago. there's little in terms of content and the store which is obviously totally essential will open in september. but overall, it seems a pretty good idea. hope they'll evolve into something interesting.
